WHY I DO WHAT I DO
A Story of Passion, Purpose & Pleasure

My fascination with the intricacies of sexuality and relationships began early in my academic journey. Driven by a deep curiosity about intimacy and the human experience, I pursued two degrees in Psychology, exploring how the mind and body intersect in relationships.
But it wasn’t until I embarked on my Master’s degree in Psychology that I had a pivotal realisation - my true passion lay in Sexology, not Sex Therapy. This realisation led me to make the bold decision to leave the program, and pursue a path that felt more aligned with my purpose.
In South Africa, specialised training in Sexology was limited, presenting a significant challenge. Determined to pursue my passion, I embarked on an extensive search for a program that aligned with my vision and values. This led me to an internationally accredited distance-learning program in human sexuality coaching and sexology, based in the USA. In 2024, after months of rigorous study and dedication, I successfully completed the course and was certified - a milestone that solidified my commitment to creating safe, compassionate spaces where individuals, particularly POC (People of Colour) like myself, can explore their sexuality free from shame or stigma.
